  2. Hens seem to be coping fine. They have access to their house all day but only ever go in to lay or at night. But they have shelter if they choose to use it.

    We’re all good ta. The secret of kids hoovering is a new hoover - we had to replace ours and the new one is bagless so the novelty of watching it suck up things.

  5. A bit like watching it spin round in a Dyson, or watching a tumble dryer then really!!! But I suppose the novelty will wear off soon.
